Herewith my reference for Paul Edwards as requested.
 
I have know Paul for approx 13 years. Originally through his property management company, which managed my residential portfolio of properties. For almost 5 years he has acted as clerk to the Trustees for Victoria & Jubilee Homes Alms Houses, of which I am Chair person.
 
I originally brought Paul onboard to help when the Charity had been somewhat neglected for a number of years.  Thankfully he was able to diligently and professionally help us put a long term plan of capital works together, as well as attend to more pressing repair issues immediately.  He also put in place vast swathes of regulatory paperwork for us – helping to protect residents and trustees alike! 
 
His continued management now ensures a much smoother path for the Charity as a whole
 
I cannot stress how vital and important he was to helping us turn round a potentially very tricky position for the Trust.  We would not have survived without his dedication and assiduous approach to residents and trustees alike.  His background in Banking has also proved very useful for our financial position and careful management of budgets whilst spending vast amounts on capital improvements! 
 
He has also been integral to our conversion to a CIO, thus protecting us from onerous regulation that was making life very difficult for voluntary trustees! 
 
He would prove a very shrewd and sensible appointment by yourselves.  If you need your charity to thrive and be accountable to ongoing maintenance issues being attended to quickly, whilst ensuring longer term capital planning and financial expertise  – then Paul is your man.
 
I do not hesitate in recommending him to you.  Grab him whilst you can as I know he is in high demand!
